This story begins where it ends. It's truly from a page of literary canon, although we won't be given a Pulitzer, so we'll have to settle for calling it fate.
328 Bleeker Street has been orbiting the Bandit-verse since the 2022 NYC Marathon weekend, where we hosted our first pop-up. In this space, our dreams of Bandit were realized. Finally, a physical space, in our city, with our performance running product. Granted, the stories are still written in brand pop-up lore: collapsing clothing racks, a store build ending at 4am, a group run that same morning at 7am, and a wildly chaotic inventory situation. If you saw our CEO Nick West run 100 flights of stairs getting product from the basement... no you didn't. After all the finishers went back to work and we cleaned up our party, we knew it was a successful weekend that proved to us the strength of our community.
Almost 2 years removed from that marathon mayhem we are back at 328 Bleeker Street - this time with a permanent lease to our name. We're different now: 5 collections, dozens of campaigns, many more pop-ups, a membership, training programs, A TRAINING APP?! But, in many ways we're the same: Steve Finley is still leading the group run, the team is still hitting buzzer-beaters on projects we probably didn't have the bandwidth to attempt in the first place, and we're most definitely throwing a party anyway! We're proud of the community we have. You are really the main reason we have the opportunity to expand into this new store. This is about having a space for you all to be a part of the Bandit family.
328 Bleecker Street, both then and now, provides something very similar: marching orders towards the future, which we will gladly accept. See y'all in the West Village.
