Spring's overarching theme of rhythm and repetition can be found in both subtle and more pointed ways across the collection. From the texture of the new ribbed performance fabric, to the symmetrical runner graphic emblazoned in puff-print on the back of the crew neck, to the four uninterrupted gel pockets on the Nova Crop™, the perforated dotting on the new Vento ™ Shorts, the custom “Bandit” checkered jacquard pattern, so on and so forth...
The campaign takes this idea of repetition and marries it together with abstracted quintessential notions of Spring running. The interpretation translates throughout: identical twin athletes, Jabari and Malik Williams, serve as the heroes of the story, powerful layered and intertwined compositions evoke the strength of community, and working with materials such as mylar, ribbed acrylic, and kaleidoscope, allowed us to unlock deeper meanings... Reflections of our former selves, the concept of coming back to center, and thin veils of glass over our fitness coming out of a long Winter.
The campaign was shot entirely on film by Joe Greer in Queens, New York.
