One full calendar year before a collection comes out, Bandit Co-Founder & Chief Designer Ardith Singh, establishes a carefully curated array of imagery that serves as inspiration for the product's silhouettes, fabrics, colors, graphics, and ideas. Over the course of that year, these images hang pinned onto a large board in the middle of Bandit HQ where through intentional osmosis, the team translates these concepts into what becomes the finished product.

Winter running is a dynamic interaction of a landscape.
Using topography as a metaphor for the runners mindset,
or mental terrain
illustrating the mental landscapes we navigate and the maps we create to understand ourselves and the world.
The mind has its own sort of topography;
peaks of successes and valleys of challenges.
These mental contours shape our unique landscape and
influence how we perceive the world.
These concepts translate to stark contrast being important,
reflected directly in the color palette.
Foundational black against snowy whites with texture are key.
Crisp mazarine and icy blue, alongside warm neutrals,
punctuate the otherwise sharp palette.
