The creation of a new collection kicks off nearly a year before it debuts. We begin first by tapping into the feeling we have as runners at the start of each season and then work to define the moments of transition that we go through. In the case of Spring, it’s about the shift from being in hibernation mode to emerging into the next phase. We then take that idea and make a sharp turn away from running and into the worlds of art, architecture, photography, and runway. That inspiration is summarized as a collection of images that act as a through-line for the entirety of the creative process, enabling us to evolve the sport in a fresh, uniquely Bandit direction.
