This time not only layering of moments, ideas, and textures of a runner as they move through their training cycle, but also the idea of splicing: wrong turns & re-directions—only to be set on another, sometimes more interesting path. Celebrating that piece of the process.
Inspired by cubist works of art and how a subject is analyzed, broken up, and reassembled in an abstract form—instead of depicting objects from a single perspective, the artist depicts the subject from multiple perspectives to represent it in greater context.
Don’t we all deserve this?
To press pause, break everything down and reassemble, only to be viewed from different perspectives… rather than singularly?
We are all more than one thing, one idea. We are uniquely complicated and capable.
While individualism in itself is powerful, the true power lies where people, who fully own the different facets of who they are, come together.
Graphically, gestural strokes lend softness to our more typical graphic bold shapes.
First introduced for Summer, use of unfettered line-work feels fresh for the Fall season.
The dynamic palette is grounded in cool grays and stoney blues, alongside spicy reds and warm browns. Goldenrod and Tide Pool Blue punctuate while Feather Grey and Tourmaline lend softness and levity to the range.
