As a side quest in my role as CEO of Bandit, I've been attempting to best understand how we should be thinking about the rapidly changing landscape of technology, mainly focused on the AI revolution, and how we can harness and use it to expand our creative and operational capabilities. BORING. Anyway, a friend suggested I try my hand at learning the image-generating platform, MidJourney, which had previously sparked my interest when I began following the work of the multi-disciplinarian artist, Marius Troy, who had recently turned his talents towards the platform to create beautiful imagery.
Well, a couple of e-books, and an embarrassingly deep Youtube rabbit-hole later and I've become proficient enough on the platform to create some... interesting work. Now, I'm a bit obsessed.
To celebrate our upcoming Winter Collection, and our Soho-based NYC Marathon pop-up, behold... works of AI-created art that ultimately pay homage to the work of our real human designers at Bandit, Ardith & Ale:
*Important note: The last piece in this series was created and specifically requested to be added by my 4-year old daughter. Predictably, it's a banger.
And most importantly, my 4-year old's work entitled "Unicorn on a rainbow while candy falls from the sky." She takes venmo payment for any and all custom work.
