Along the Route is our ongoing series documenting the shops, bars, restaurants, venues, parks, and places we think you should know along the route of upcoming races. The first installment of ATR is for the 2022 RBC Brooklyn Half.
Paul's Daughter
You've just finished a half-marathon and your cravings are going in 3 million different directions. Do you search for a lobster roll or a burger? Fries or fried clams? Nathan's line is wrapped around the block, and we know you don't want to be boxed into a craving corner.
Enter: Paul's Daughter.
A jack-of-all-trades eatery that get it's right (very rare). Lobster rolls, funnel cakes, and hot dogs are all musts. The beer is cold and they've got soft-serve ice cream in case you don't have time for the full Williams Candy experience. There are multiple tables for seating (sitting after a half-marathon is highly encouraged.) Our only gripe? There are no cheese fries on the menu. But hey, you can’t win em' all.
