The day is nearly upon us. The field has nearly tripled since our inaugural 2025 race, with almost 3,000 runners now signed up from all over the map (see below). The men's field is sold out. The Relay is locked at 50 teams. Only the women's field is still open — and that window closes at 8pm ET this Thursday. If you've been on the fence, this is the fence falling over.
What's making this year feel different isn't just the size... it's the spread. Sure, the front of the race is legitimately fast, but nearly half the field is expected to finish > 23 minutes. There's real depth at the sharp end and just as much representation across every pace, every goal, and every reason people show up to the starting line. We've also added a dedicated non-binary super-final this year so the podium tells the full story of who's running.
