Two great things with 10 things. #1: The movie 10 Things I Hate About You. #2: This list. While the former got absolutely scammed, with a whopping zero nominations at the '99 Academy Awards, we're confident the latter will help to make the case for our Fall Collection to make a clean sweep at the annual Global Running Awards (doesn't exist). Now let's jump in.
1. Introducing Gridlock™
"I love what introducing a novelty texture does to the line in general…an opportunity to create visual interest, not just through color or print/pattern. At first glance, the grid-like knitted structure is reminiscent of a woven ripstop, lending an element of novelty to the collection. Knitted with a double pique technique, this fabric allows for enhanced breathability due to the knit structure creating small, waffle-like patterns that allow for better air circulation. The result? A breathable, lightweight yet compressive fabric allowing for unrestricted movement and shape recovery. Additionally, this construction is optimal for moisture management, helping to wick away moisture from the skin and allowing it to evaporate quickly, preventing chafe." -CDO, Ardith Singh
2. Sock Innovation - Introducing the Grid Knit Lite Sock
It was high time we put a proper remix on our best-selling lite run sock. Knitted with the same Coolmax yarn, this sock performs like the sock you know and love but with a stylish new upper (we're stealing this term from footwear, no apologies). Developed to replicate our new GridLock fabric, the texture lends itself to a more relaxed aesthetic, finished with a natural jersey roll at the top edge, while the branding takes a sophisticated turn with a small embroidered hit in seasonal colors. *Chef smooch*
3. Graphic designs inspired by...
"The graphics were inspired by…. the process of training. Just as you break down and build back up, the graphics speak to cubist works of art in which a subject is disassembled and reassembled into something beautiful. Each graphic has layers, pieces, and both soft and hard forms; they illustrate the transformation runners and running communities go through when working towards a big goal.
The works of Henri Laurens, Willi Baumeister, Oskar Schlemmer, and other cubist artists were foundational to this graphic exploration." - Lead Designer, Ale Iaccarino
4. Race Buns are back
Last year, we had our OTQ women and key community members come together for a mini focus group with one very important topic: racing buns. As with any of our products, it was critical to first hear from the community about what they both needed and wanted in racing buns. Our evening was spent covering all the things you could imagine would come up when exploring such a tiny piece of gear. Our candid conversations led to us developing 3 different buns and pocket constructions. And we're delighted to have them back for the Fall Collection.
5. *ALERT* NO FRONT RISE SEAM *ALERT*
Front rises can get tricky, and we heard from our community that we needed an option without the risk of the dreaded camel toe. This feedback led to the development of our new women’s compression short and legging, both without a front rise seam (read: no frontal intrusion). This construction lends itself to a smooth, clean look. We're even more psyched to report that in 2025, ALL women's compression will be no front rise. Bing Bong.
6. Hello high-waist compression shorts
Two years after launching performance and perfecting our core compression short, it was time to expand. The feedback from our community for a second compression short option was resounding - something higher rise, with a flatter waistband. We designed, developed, and wore test an ultra high rise design with a clean, self waistband. This updated waistband construction lies flat on the body and is the perfect place to hide gel pockets at center back (preserving both the pocketing system and the clean aesthetic). The end result is a smooth, minimal look when paired with our no front rise construction.
7. Can you say two-tone 2-in-1 Men's Shorts?
I loved the idea of taking some of our favorite styles and iterating on them, whether that is through material, trim, or color. Our Fall color palette lent itself to the idea of color blocking, playing with both tone on tone mixes and contrasting hues.
8. The Next Gen Half Tights in Gridlock
Introducing textures into our favorite silhouettes allows us to give people something they love with a new spin on it. Our new Gridlock fabric is an amazing textural fabric that is equally lightweight and compressive. Imagine the lightweight-ness of Superbeam with the compression of Cadence. Haven't tried either? Just imagine heaven on your legs.
9. Introducing The Lightweight Ripstop Jacket complete with a watch window
It all begins with the fabric. Made from recycled Robic Nylon, this ripstop material is designed for exceptional durability and performance. With up to 50% more strength and 2.5 times the tear resistance of standard nylon, it offers enduring resilience in even the toughest conditions, all while maintaining a lightweight feel ideal for the fall season. The jacket’s bonded seams and waterproof zippers further enhance its water resistance. In addition to the front zipper pockets, we’ve included zippered watch windows on both sleeves, allowing for quick and easy pace checks. A subtle black-on-black print adds a touch of novelty to the back, while our classic branding is reimagined as a clean silicone patch at the front.
10. We finally made incredible, non-cold weather leggings!
We are excited to roll out a 3 season tight for when the temps dip but not enough to reach for your brushed version from last year. For woman we have the full length version of our high waist, no front rise compression short, complete with the same pocketing system (a grand total of 6 pockets). On the men’s side, we created a full length tight version of our best selling, award winning seven pocket half tight.
11. The MicroGrid Proto Tee
The name says it all…This style was born through a fabric exploration exercise that was then passed around the office for wear testing. Due to the positive feedback internally, I decided to present it at one of our community focus groups/feedback sessions. The reaction was overwhelmingly positive, so we were able to react and chase into the style for the Fall season. Each community session always reminds me why feedback from the community is so critical… the best ideas start there.
12. The Women's Stamina Jacket
Stamina is such a workhorse for us as a fabric platform. It is super soft, smooth on the body and just compressive enoguth. An interlock construction with all way stretch for ease of movement, it was time to explore more silhouettes in this fabric. A fitted zip front jacket, complete with a 2-way center front zipper and zip pockets is the perfect 3rd layer that seamlessly blends form and function. Cadence insets at the side panels and undersleeves help to create a flattering fit and an added textural detail to the clean, modern silhouette
13. The Aurora Crop
The perfect blend of form and function. Inspired from a neckline spotted on the runway, we designed this crop to not only have a unique look through shape and fabric (GridLock) but also to have the highest level of performance. Keeping the neckline high, straps wide, and internal bra, the Aurora Crop offers the same support as our crew neckline race crop, including our signature side pockets and center back phone pocket with the added function of the NovaCrop-inspired 4 gel pockets on the backside of the crop along the hem.
14. The Luna Crop
Another runway-neckline evolution, this cut away halter style with shirttail hem has the look of a lifestyle tank with the functionality of a race crop, including our side pockets and a hidden, internal phone pocket at center back. We added a touch of texture to this style by using our GridLock fabric at the binding at the neckline and armhole.

So sue us, we titled the article '10 Things' just so we slip in a 10 Things I Hate About You joke in the intro. Let us live!
